Avila Lighthouse Suites

Avila Lighthouse Suites is an all-suite hotel where every room includes a separate living area, a private balcony, and two large-screen televisions. Select oceanfront suites offer panoramic ocean views from the bedroom and a door that separates the living room for added privacy. The two-bedroom villa suites provide separate beds for children and a patio overlooking the pool and ocean.

The daily resort fee includes e-bike rentals, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and sand toys, plus tickets to the Central Coast Aquarium. On-site amenities include a heated oceanfront pool, a hot tub, a putting green, a ping-pong table, a giant checker game, cornhole, and an outdoor fireplace. Guests can borrow beach equipment at no extra charge and use the outdoor shower near the hot tub to rinse off after the beach.

A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is served each morning in the Galley, featuring scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, chilaquiles, make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and a honeycomb with dripping honey. Fresh-baked cookies are available daily in the lobby, along with cold water. The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant for lunch or dinner, but guests can walk to nearby dining at Custom House for clam chowder and fish and chips or Blue Moon Over Avila for wine and French onion soup.

Avila Lighthouse Suites sits directly across the street from Avila Beach and is a short walk from the Central Coast Aquarium and the Avila Beach Golf Course. The Bob Jones Hiking & Bike Trail is across the street, providing a paved path for cycling and walking. Guests can walk to boutique shops, wine tasting rooms such as Alapay Cellars, and the Avila Beach Pier, with Pismo Beach a 12-minute drive south.

The hotel offers designated pet-friendly accommodations with pet bowls, pet baskets, and a dog beach within walking distance from the port. Children enjoy the heated pool with a shallow end, kids' outdoor play equipment, and board games available at the front desk. The hotel provides free use of beach toys and boogie boards, and the 24-hour front desk can arrange express check-in and late checkout upon request.
